Coil cars, used for coil handling, is designed to load new coils onto the uncoilers, thus keeping the downtime to a minimum.

These Coil Cars are self-contained with their own hydraulic power pack and have the capability to accurately position the coil onto the uncoiler, thus preventing possible damage to the uncoiler or the material.

The use of the Coil Car is recommended for situations where material handling equipment is not always available to load coils on to the uncoiler and to prevent excessive delays in re-loading the uncoiler.
