The 72" Slitting Line is a versatile and highly functional piece of equipment designed for precision slitting of materials within a thickness range of 0.016" to 0.125" (0.4mm to 3.2mm). It accommodates coil widths from 20" to 72" and handles coils weighing up to 55,000 pounds (25,000 kg). Designed for efficiency, it offers a line speed of 32 to 650 feet per minute (10 to 200 meters per minute) and operates from left to right. This slitting line includes several integral components for seamless operation: a coil staging area, an entry pit type coil car, an uncoiler with hold-down roll, and a peeler table. It enhances precision and effectiveness with its entry flattener, entry crop shear, and first and second looping pits with crossover tables. Additionally, it features an edge guide, pinch roll, slitter head, and scrap baller for optimized processing. For final handling and processing, the line is equipped with a tension stand, belt bridle, exit crop shear, and a recoiler with an overarm separator. The exit pit type coil car and two-arm turnstile ensure smooth handling and transport of materials.
