The Bradbury Slitting Line is designed for efficient and precise slitting operations. It accommodates coils up to 72 inches in width and 40,000 pounds in weight. The line is capable of handling material thicknesses from 0.018 inches to a maximum of 0.135 inches, making it versatile for various slitting applications. The equipment is designed with a right-to-left line direction. The line comes equipped with a comprehensive set of components including a coil car with a 53-inch wide bed, an uncoiler supporting 70-inch wide and 40,000-pound coils with various features like an AC Feed Up Air Clutch and Hydraulic Drum. Additionally, it features a peeler table, pinch roll/side guide, and a hydraulic upcut shear with an 84-inch wide blade, enhancing its operational flexibility. Further components include a slitter with entry side guides, a loop pit carry-over table, a tension stand, and a recoiler featuring an 80-inch wide hydraulic drum and a powerful 150 HP, 460V Baldor motor with a 3-speed gearbox. The setup also includes hydraulic scrap winders that are self-dumping, ensuring efficient scrap management.
