The 72" x 40,000 lb. Rowe/Herr-Voss cut-to-length line, is a robust and efficient solution designed for processing cold rolled mild steel. This equipment accommodates a maximum coil width of 72 inches and coil weight of 40,000 lbs. It is capable of handling material thicknesses ranging from .020" to .075", with maximum sheet sizes extending up to 72" in width and 144" in length. The line operates at a maximum speed of 160 feet per minute. Included in the line are several components to optimize processing. It features a Rowe Reel Uncoiler, Coil Buggy, Threading Table, Crop Shear, and Feeder, ensuring smooth handling and precise cutting. The leveling is supported by a Herr-Voss Straightener/Leveler with a roll diameter of 1.5", which maintains yield at .075" to 40,000 PSI. Complementing these are Rowe Edge Trimmer, Scrap Chopper, and Stacker, all crafted to enhance efficiency and product quality. The system supports high throughput with up to 60 cuts per minute, facilitated by a motor shared with the leveler, optimized for uniform operation across the line.
