This Pro-Eco slitting line is designed to handle substantial workloads, with a maximum coil weight capacity of 80,000 lbs. The line can process coils up to 74 inches in entry width and has a maximum exit width of 72 inches. It accommodates material thicknesses ranging from 0.054 inches to a maximum of 0.500 inches at 48 inches wide and 0.375 inches at 72 inches wide. Entry coil diameters should be between 16 and 30 inches, while exit coils can have diameters of 24 or 30 inches. The maximum outer diameter for entry coils is 84 inches, with exit coils at a maximum of 80 inches. Equipped with a line speed capability of 150 feet per minute in low gear and up to 500 feet per minute in high gear, this system ensures efficiency in operation. The line runs from right to left and includes essential components for seamless processing, such as a hydraulic-powered entry coil car and ramp, uncoiler, flattener, peeler, pinch unit, shear heads, and recoiler. Noteworthy features include the Butech entry shear and exit shear, added in 1999, and are complemented by deflector tension roll devices with brakes. The slitting line comes with three slitter heads, 10-1/2 inch arbors, and a robust 150 H.P. DC motor. The recoiler, capable of handling 78-inch wide material, is powered by a 300 H.P. DC motor. This setup ensures reliable and efficient slitting operations, making it a suitable choice for heavy-duty industrial applications needing precision and high-volume processing.
