This used Paxson Slitting Line is capable of handling material widths from 12" to 72" with material thicknesses ranging from .010" to .187". It can manage heavy coils with a maximum weight of 50,000 lbs. The line accommodates coil inner diameters between 20" and 24" and a maximum outer diameter of 72". Featuring a line speed of 500 to 1,000 feet per minute, this slitting line is designed for efficiency and reliability. The line processes various material types, including hot rolled, cold rolled, and galvanized sheets, with material yield strengths of up to 40,000 PSI and shear strength of 50,000 PSI. Operating from right to left, it includes an extensive range of equipment such as an entry transfer cart, entry coil car with hydraulic lift, mandrel uncoiler, dual slitter heads with adjustable arbors, and a powerful 175HP DC motor drive. Additionally, it features mechanical crop shear at both entry and exit points.
