The used B&K Slitting Line, model 60" X .270" X 50,000 lb, is robustly engineered for processing hot rolled mild steel. It accommodates coil widths ranging from 60 inches to a maximum of 62 inches and handles strip thicknesses between 0.135 inches and 0.270 inches. The line supports a maximum coil weight of 50,000 lbs and operates with a maximum yield strength of 45,000 PSI. It is designed for an incoming coil ID ranging from 19 to 26 inches, with an outgoing coil ID of 20 to 24 inches, and handles coils with a maximum OD of 72 inches. Equipped with an array of features, this slitting line includes a 3-arm turnstile, a 44-inch wide coil car, a 64-inch wide uncoiler with hydraulic expanding pads, and a shear unit with a 72-inch blade.
