48" Paxson Slitting Line Components (Used)

The 48" Paxson Slitting Line Components are designed for efficient and precise slitting operations, capable of handling a maximum width of 48" and accommodating coil weights up to 22,000 lbs. This used slitting line offers a slit tolerance of +/- 0.005" and operates in a right-to-left line direction. Powered by a 55 HP Westinghouse DC motor running at 650 RPM with a voltage of 230V, it ensures reliable and consistent performance. Key components include a slitter head with a 50" width and 6" diameter arbors, pinch rolls, and edge guides for precise material handling. A scrap winder with hydraulic self-dumping and oscillation features is included to manage waste efficiently. The recoiler, featuring a 54" drum width and 20" diameter drum, is equipped with an attached overarm separator and operates in a right-to-left direction. Its manual grip and collapse system, along with a push-off plate and 2-speed gearbox, make for smooth recoiling operations.
