This used slitting line is capable of processing mild steel with a maximum entry coil width of 12 inches and a thickness up to 0.125 inches. It supports coil weights up to 4,000 lbs, accommodating coil IDs from 16” to 24” and an OD of up to 72”. The machine is engineered for precision, offering slitting of four cuts at 0.125 inches or six to eight cuts at 0.030 to 0.060 inches, providing flexibility for various slitting operations. Included in this setup is a Littell uncoiler with a capacity matching the 4,000 lb coils, functioning alongside a Bliss slitter head equipped with 3” diameter arbors and powered by a 10 HP GE jog motor. The system operates on 208/220/440V, 3-phase electrical configurations. The recoiler features a Horsburgh adjustable gear reducer and hydraulic push-off, paired with a pneumatics-driven overarm, ensuring efficient handling with coil IDs of either 16” or 20”. Additional equipment includes a single-wheel scrap winder, hydraulic pump, slitter transformer for voltage management, and a range of tooling like assorted slitter knives, rubber stripper rings, and steel overarm separators. The complete assembly is housed with free-standing turnstile and integratively offers a robust solution for heavy-duty slitting requirements.
