This 60" Pro-Eco cut to length line, featuring a cassette leveler, offers robust functionality for processing steel coils. Designed in 1985 and updated with reinstallation in 2002, it accommodates coil widths from 8" to 60" and thicknesses between .024" and .187". The line handles a maximum coil weight of 50,000 lbs, supporting coil outer diameters of 36" to 72" and inner diameters of 19" to 24". Variable line speeds from 50 to 300 feet per minute enable adaptable processing. Key components include a four-arm entry storage turnstile, a cantilevered mandrel uncoiler equipped with a water-cooled brake, and a precision roll feeder powered by a 55 HP motor. The line also includes a high-speed mechanical cut-off shear with a 40 HP motor. The mechanical wedge-style leveler features two interchangeable cassettes with different roll specifications to ensure precise material leveling. Operational efficiency is further enhanced by modernized AC and drive controls updated in 2006 with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC and Siemens SIMOREG controllers.
