The used Stamco Slitting Line is designed to handle a maximum strip width of 48 inches and thickness range from 0.015 inches to 0.140 inches, supporting coil weights up to 40,000 lbs. This efficient line processes materials such as cold rolled steel, hot rolled pickled and oiled steel, coated steel, aluminum, brass, and copper. The equipment operates with a line direction from right to left, capable of achieving speeds between 400 and 800 FPM. Equipped with dependable components, this line includes three coil storage platforms, a Stamco mandrel uncoiler, and two Stamco slitting heads. The system features dual scrap choppers and 20 HP Reliance DC motor drives for reliable operation. The process is enhanced with powered pinch rolls, entry non-powered pinch rolls, a North American tracking unit, and a peeler table. The dual drag pad tension stand, powered pinch rolls, and pit crossover table contribute to its robust performance. For efficient material handling, the line incorporates a scrap shaker and conveyor, Stamco recoiler, V-Type exit coil car, and a single-arm turnstile. The system is completed with essential elements such as an overarm separator shaft and a cascade roll system, ensuring smooth operation and high precision in slitting tasks.
