The used Loopco Slitting Line offers efficient coil processing with a maximum coil width of 60 inches and a maximum weight capacity of 40,000 lbs. It is designed for materials with a thickness range from 0.015 inches to 0.125 inches. The machine accommodates entry coil IDs from 19.5 inches to 24 inches and features an exit coil ID of 20 inches. Operating at a line speed of 300 to 600 feet per minute, it processes in a left-to-right direction. This slitting line is equipped with a Loopco coil car and mandrel uncoiler, featuring hydraulic motors and water-cooled brakes for enhanced performance. The line includes a peeler table, driven pinch rolls, roller side guides, a removable crane-type slitter head with 7-inch diameter arbors, and a scrap winder with hydraulic motor drive. Components like the pit crossover table, drag board tension stand with airbag tension, and a robust Loopco recoiler with a 20-inch drum further ensure effective operation. The system’s recoiler includes an overarm separator and a two-speed reducer, driven by a 75 HP DC motor boasting speeds of 650 to 2000 RPM. The process is managed through integrated controls, and the line is currently installed. It's a complete system that includes necessary hydraulic units and control mechanisms for optimal slitting performance.
