Description
This 74" x 0.375" x 60,000 lb Herr Voss Cut-to-Length Line, manufactured in 1995, is designed for efficient processing of metal coils. It supports a range of material widths from 36" to 74" and thicknesses from 0.075" to 0.375" with a yield strength of 80,000 PSI. The line can handle coil weights up to 60,000 lbs and accommodates coil IDs between 20" and 34" and a maximum coil OD of 84". The machine operates at speeds from 20 FPM to 175 FPM with a jog speed of 50 FPM, moving material from left to right. Key components include an entry coil ramp with three storage positions, a cone-type uncoiler with an AC motor, hydraulic threading unit, and a Keystone 4-High Precision Leveler with an 88" face rolls and a 200 HP DC motor. Herr Voss's mechanical shear and drop-type stacker, capable of managing sheets up to 24' in length and weighing 40,000 lbs, complement the system for versatile manufacturing needs.
