The Stamco Loop Dual Head Slitter with Banding Line is a reliable solution for processing steel coils with precision and efficiency. It handles materials with a maximum width of 60 inches and thickness ranging from 0.023 to 0.125 inches. The system is capable of processing coils up to 44,000 lbs, accommodating entry and exit coil diameters between 30 and 72 inches and IDs of 20 to 24 inches. Equipped with two slitting heads, the slitter ensures effective material handling, with support for both cold-rolled and galvanized steel. The slitting line operates at speeds between 400 to 800 feet per minute, maintaining a smooth right-to-left line direction. This unit includes an entry turnstile, coil car, uncoiler with hydraulic expansion, and a North American Edge Control System for precise operations. The line integrates advanced features such as a combination tension stand, hydraulic recoiler, and a banding section with powered conveyors, making it a comprehensive setup for efficient coil processing.
