The Paxson Cut To Length Line is a versatile system capable of handling coils up to 60 inches in width, with a thickness range from 0.020 to 0.135 inches and a maximum coil weight of 40,000 pounds. This right-to-left operating line includes an entry coil car that features a self-contained hydraulic power unit and a mandrel uncoiler with a hydraulic feed-up motor and water-cooled brake. The high-precision 6-Hi leveler, equipped with a 125 HP motor, ensures optimal leveling with motorized backup flights. Key components include a roll feed system powered by a 30 HP motor and a high-speed mechanical shear with a manual blade gap adjustment. The automatic stacker, supporting a maximum length of 20 feet, provides non-scratching roller supports and powered adjustments for width and length. The equipment is also fitted with an exit runout conveyor, hydraulic power unit, electrical controls, and a 220 KVA air compressor. Currently installed, this machine retains its robust structure and is suitable for precise and reliable cut-to-length production tasks.
