Description
This 60" Aluminum Coating Line, manufactured by Hunter/GFG, is designed for efficient and high-speed coating applications. It supports a maximum strip width of 60" and can handle strip thicknesses ranging from .008" to .020". The line is a single-coat type with an impressive actual line speed of up to 300 feet per minute, exceeding its rated speed of 275 feet per minute. Key components of the line include two uncoilers with motors rated at 80 HP, supporting coil weights up to 50,000 lbs. The exit side can handle coil diameters up to 70" and weights of 48,000 lbs. Additional features include a Behlen Strip Joiner, a coater from GFG for two-sided coating applications, and a 3-zone, gas-fired catenary oven for consistent drying and curing. The robust pinch roll and crop shear mechanisms ensure smooth processing, and various bridles provide tension control across the system.
