This Pro-Eco slitting line is designed for efficient processing of coils up to 60 inches wide and 0.250 inches thick, supporting coil weights of up to 50,000 pounds. Its robust build accommodates materials with widths ranging from 12 inches to 60 inches and thicknesses between 0.020 inches and 0.250 inches, ensuring versatile operations across various material specifications. The system supports coil diameters with an internal diameter range of 20 to 24 inches and a maximum outer diameter of 72 inches. Key components of this slitting line include an entry coil car with hydraulic lift and L-type design, mandrel uncoiler with hydraulic expansion and powered hold-down roll, and dual slitting heads featuring adjustable 8-inch diameter arbors. The line is equipped with a 20 HP feed-up motor, entry mechanical crop shear, and two heavy-duty scrap winders to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the recoiler is powered by a 125 HP DC motor capable of 650 to 1,950 RPM, with integrated features like hydraulic push-off and a powered overarm separator.
