Description
The Stamco Single Loop Slitting Line, with its 72” width and capacity to handle coil weights up to 65,000 lbs, is ideal for processing materials like CRS, HRPO, galvanized, and pre-painted steels. It operates efficiently within a thickness range of .015” – .135”, boasting shear and yield strengths between 35,000 to 90,000 PSI. The line runs from left to right and supports coils with a maximum width of 72” (untrimmed up to 74”) and diameters ranging from 36” to 80”. Key components include dual injector-style slitter heads with an 8” arbor diameter, and a quick-change quill type drum for coil IDs of 20” or 24”. Its drive configuration is robust, featuring 200 HP DC for both the uncoiler and recoiler, alongside a 125 HP DC drive for the slitter, capable of achieving line speeds of 500 to 1,000 FPM. The system's flexibility is enhanced by operator control stations, AC controls, and a comprehensive hydraulic system, ensuring an adaptable and efficient operation for various industrial needs.
