This used laminating and bonding adhesive line, custom-built for versatile industrial applications, is designed for processing steel and aluminum materials. It handles a maximum steel thickness of .032 inches and aluminum up to .040 inches. The line accommodates a coil width of up to 68 inches and a substantial coil weight of 45,000 lbs, with both entry and exit coil diameters estimated at 72 inches. Equipped to operate at a line speed of 25 FPM, this equipment is set up for a left-to-right direction processing flow. Essential components of the line include a four-arm entry storage turnstile, floor-level coil loading cars, cantilevered mandrel uncoilers, and hydraulic drum mandrels, supported by an electronic edge control system. The system also features a video inspection setup with seven camera views to ensure precision. With a dual-level Unitherm three-zone natural gas-fired furnace and a Black Brothers traversing horizontal coil coater, the line is optimized for efficiency and comprehensive processing capability. Additional features include an upper and lower strip threading system with non-marking rollers, strip centering guides, and an exit straightener. Operator convenience is enhanced with a closed-loop hydraulic system, AC controls, and variable speed drive controls to ensure smooth operation.
