The 24" x .090" x 5,000# Ruesch slitting line is a robust system designed for precision and efficiency in handling metal coils. With a maximum coil weight capacity of 5,000 lbs, it accommodates material thicknesses ranging from 0.015" to 0.093". This line includes a hydraulic uncoiler with a 31" mandrel face and bolted leaves for larger coil IDs, ensuring versatility in coil handling. The maximum entry coil outer diameter is 50", with a minimum and maximum inner diameter of 16" and 20", respectively. Equipped with a Ruesch ring-type slitter head, the line features a 27" arbor face and a 4" arbor diameter, driven by a 3 HP AC motor, with an option to add a second slitter head. A hydraulic recoiler, featuring a 30" mandrel face and a 25 HP motor linked to a Horsburgh & Scott gearbox, handles exit coils up to 60" in outer diameter. The recoiler is also equipped with a hydraulic push-off plate and Eaton dynamic electromagnetic friction brake for smooth operation. The Ruesch slitting line includes additional components such as edge guides, tension stands, pass line rolls, scrap winder, and tooling with knives. With a line speed capable of reaching up to 500 feet per minute, it is ideal for fast-paced production environments.
