Description
The used Chicago/Braner Triple Injector Head / Turret Recoiler Loop Slitting Line is designed for precision slitting and features a maximum coil width capability of 72 inches with material thickness ranging from .010" to .187". It operates efficiently in a left-to-right line direction and supports a maximum line speed of 1,000 feet per minute. The equipment accommodates coil IDs ranging from 20" to 24", with a maximum coil OD of 72". This comprehensive line includes vital components such as an entry 4-arm turnstile with power rotation, entry L-type coil car, and a floor-standing hydraulic system. The slitting section features three injector style quick-change heads with 9" diameter arbors powered by a 100 HP DC drive. Additionally, it incorporates advanced technology such as shimless tooling and a full-width powered hold-down roll, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. For finishing, the setup boasts a dual turret-style recoiler with a rotating base and a 250 HP DC drive, along with comprehensive exit equipment, including a 12' powered conveyor with a scale.
