The 60" x .187” x 50,000# Chicago/Paxson Loop Slitting Line is a versatile, used industrial slitting line with two heads, designed for processing a range of materials up to .187 inches thick. It accommodates coil weights up to 50,000 pounds and offers coil ID options of 20" and 24". The line speed can reach 550 feet per minute, making it suitable for high-efficiency operations. It can handle coils with widths ranging from 12" to 60" and provides a minimum slit width of 1" for precise material cutting. This slitting line comes fully equipped with essential components such as an entry L-Type coil car, mandrel uncoiler with hydraulic expansion and hold down roll, a peeler table, crop shear, and two slitter heads with 8" diameter arbors. Additionally, it features a Chicago feed up table, looping pit cross-over table, and two scrap winders with oscillating wind and auto bundle eject systems. The unit also includes a recoiler with overarm separator and hydraulic push-off, supported by a 100 HP DC drive. Furthermore, the line is fitted with a Rotary Drag Board Tension Stand, hydraulic units, and electrical drives and controls for smooth operation.
