This used 72" Butech Cassette Leveler is a precision roller leveler equipped to handle a broad range of material thicknesses from .060" to .500". Designed to work with hot rolled, hot rolled high strength, and hot rolled pickled and oiled materials, this unit can accommodate a maximum strip width of 72 inches, with an overall gauge range of up to 85,000 PSI. The quick-change roll nest cassettes allow for efficient transitions between material thickness variations. The machine features two significant configurations: an 11-roll heavy gauge cassette with 5.500" diameter work rolls, and a 17-roll light gauge cassette with 2.750" diameter work rolls. Both setups are supported by seven backup flights on top and bottom, ensuring stability and precise leveling. Furthermore, the maximum line speed can reach up to 400 feet per minute, determined by operational requirements, while guided by centerline reference for consistent material alignment. Supported by two 250 HP DC motors, this leveler follows a left-to-right line direction and matches existing pass line heights for seamless integration.
