The 48" x 0.075" Herr Voss Leveler, manufactured in 1972, is a robust and reliable piece of industrial equipment, designed specifically for flattening metal strips. This used leveler offers a width capacity of 48 inches and can handle strip thicknesses ranging from 0.020" to a maximum of 0.075". It is equipped with 17 work rolls, each having a diameter of 1.5 inches, and operates with a material yield strength of up to 45,000 PSI. The machine's line speed varies between 30 to 210 feet per minute. Powering the Herr Voss Leveler is a 40 HP Westinghouse DC drive motor, running at speeds of 1,750 or 1,950 RPM, with an operating voltage of 240 volts. The leveler includes a motor blower and utilizes a Falk reducer with a ratio of 3.339:1, ensuring efficient operation. The machine is designed with a passline height of 42 inches and a line direction from left to right, making it suitable for integration into various processing lines. This leveler has been removed and is currently in storage, ready for inspection or transport.
