Description
The used Meco 4-Hi Non-Reversing Rolling Mill offers a robust setup for materials processing with a maximum material width of 12 inches and thickness ranging from .010" to .125". Equipped to handle coil diameters from 16" to 46" and weights of up to 6,500 lbs, the mill ensures versatility in coil processing. The line operates at speeds from 300 to 600 feet per minute, supported by a 150 HP Westinghouse DC mill drive motor. This setup supports right-to-left line direction and features a sizable floor space footprint of 31' by 26'. Key components of this mill include work rolls of 4" diameter by 16" face and backup rolls of 12.25" diameter by 16" face, driven by the hydraulic screwdowns and supported by roller bearings. The mill is equipped with a self-contained hydraulic power unit and dual AC motor-driven pumps. Additionally, a Fessler Pinion Reducer with a ratio of 3.217:1 enhances the operational capability. Complementary systems such as an entry coil car, tension reel, Ruesch uncoiler, and Fessler exit tension reel ensure efficient material handling. The entire assembly is supported by comprehensive control elements, including video screen equipped operator panels and Mentor II digital DC drives.
