Description

This used 6.5" x .280" OTO Mills Tube Mill Line is ideal for producing a wide range of tube sizes, offering versatility and performance. It accommodates strip widths from 7.8" to 20.9" and strip thicknesses between 0.079" and 0.280". The line supports tube diameters ranging from 2.5" to 6.6" and square tube sizes from 2" to 5.1". Rectangular tubes can be processed with dimensions from 2.4" x 1.6" to 6.3" x 3.9". The maximum line speed is 295 feet per minute, ensuring efficient production rates. The equipment includes essential components such as a 14,000 lb. double-end uncoiler, pinch rolls and straightener, a Thermatool solid state welder, and a cooling section with a variety of forming and sizing stands. The system also features a TCC flying cutoff with a 31.5" blade and associated drive motors. It comes with a robust packaging line manufactured by Mair, capable of handling minimum and maximum tube outer diameters of 2.4" and 6.6", respectively. The dual-head end facer and beveler caters to pipe diameters between 2" and 6". In addition, the line includes a dual-head hydrostatic tester with a maximum test pressure of 4,061 PSI, ensuring quality performance and reliability of your tubes. A washing station and various tooling options for round, square, and rectangular configurations are included, with a detailed tooling list available upon request.
