72" x 10,000 Lbs. UMI Banding Line

This UMI Banding Line is a robust solution for your coiling and banding needs, designed to handle a maximum coil outer diameter of 72 inches and support up to 10,000 lbs in weight capacity. Included in the line is a 2-arm UMI turnstile system, featuring a hydraulic-actuated push-off mechanism and rack-and-pinion design, ensuring efficient coil management. The turnstile's arm measures 70 inches in length and is positioned 49 inches from the floor, with a C-hook opening of 4 inches for easy handling. The system's layout includes a downlayer with a width of 64 inches, an above-frame design, and various gravity conveyors: a main conveyor at 74 inches wide by 20 feet long, and a right-angle curved conveyor measuring 74 inches wide by 6 feet long. Featuring a semi-automatic Signode banding head, the banding station includes a 3-roll indexing table and a banding roll face of 67 inches. The banding process is supported by an above-frame design and accommodates a banding size of 3/4 inches. Furthermore, the exit conveyor is driven, spanning 69 inches wide and 24 feet long, leading to a monorail stacker crane for seamless output handling. Two monorail I.D. coil grabs, each capable of holding up to 5 tons, provide reliable support, ensuring safe and efficient transport of materials.
